On September 4, 2019, Safaricom Investment Co-operative (S.I.C) officially launched its latest project, The Zaria Village, in the heart of Kiambu County.

Established in 2009 under the Co-operatives Act Cap 490, S.I.C has been pursuing joint investments for its members and has been active in the real estate space since its inception.

The Zaria Village is a significant development, offering 331 quarter-acre serviced plots for sale. Strategically located 25 km from the Central Business District, off the Ruiru-Kiambu bypass, the project is easily accessible from Nairobi CBD, Westlands, Kiambu, and Thika towns.

Residents of Zaria Village will enjoy proximity to top-notch schools, including Nova Academy, Wood Creek School, and Crawford International School, as well as distinguished hospitals like Gertrude's Children Hospital and the Aga Khan University Hospital.

The project boasts controlled system gates, surveillance cameras, and around-the-clock security patrols. Each unit is served with adequate electricity and water connection, in addition to its own bio-digester sewerage system.

The development features pristine house plans, designed by the country's leading architects, incorporating both modern contemporary designs and conventional house designs.

Chic landscaping throughout the estate provides a heavenly outdoor experience for play and entertainment, while street lighting powered by solar electricity will pave the way for refreshing morning runs and memorable evening strolls.

The Zaria Village has given great consideration to the delicate balance between flora and fauna, focusing on planting numerous trees to create a canopy in several areas. The project also boasts a natural flowing river, River Mukuyu, and a man-made water body named Lake Zaad.
