Tahidi High Actor Appeals for Financial Assistance as Father Battles Cancer ¶
George Mulei, a popular actor from the Kenyan drama series Tahidi High, is facing a tough time as his parents are battling serious health issues, including cancer.
According to his Facebook post, Mulei's father, Jimmy Mulei, was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, marking the beginning of the family's struggles.
Tragedy struck again when Mulei's father lost his mother and sister while the family was in India seeking medical treatment for his cancer.
"Mapema 2018, iligundulika babangu alikuwa anaugua saratani. Tulifanikiwa kuchangisha fedha za matibabu yake India na wakati alipokuwa safarani akirejea aliwapoteza baba na mama mkwe," Mulei wrote on Facebook.
His mother, Mulei's Facebook post reveals, was also diagnosed with a serious health condition that required emergency surgery due to blockage in her arteries.
The family has been struggling to raise funds for his father's medical treatment in India, and Mulei has appealed to well-wishers to help them raise the necessary funds.
"Changamoto kubwa kwetu ni fedha zitakazokimu mahitaji ya wazazi wangu wakiendelea kupokea matibabu India," Mulei said.
