On September 4, 2019, tragedy struck when a lorry rammed into a 14-seater matatu in which Nakuru-based poet Dan Nyacharo was traveling.
Nyacharo was among the six people who lost their lives in the accident, which occurred at Nyakairu Centre, a few kilometers from Naivasha town.
Despite his untimely death, Nyacharo's love story with his wife Mauryn continues to inspire. The couple's social media posts reveal a deep and abiding love for each other.
On Valentine's Day in 2017, Nyacharo wrote, "Beauty comes from ashes and sometimes that means going through fire to get there."
He also penned, "Love is: Loving that imperfect person perfectly."
Just a few months ago, Nyacharo celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt message to his wife, thanking her for being his support system.
As a communications expert and social media strategist, Nyacharo's work continues to inspire and uplift others.
