On Monday afternoon, Homa Bay town was brought to a standstill when singer Esther Akoth, aka Akothee, made a grand entry into the town.

Her intentions were to promote food products and a local airline, but her arrival was met with a mixture of excitement and curiosity.

Locals, including mama mbogas, couldn't help but notice Akothee's entourage, which included heavily built men acting as bodyguards and a car branded 'Madam Boss.'

As Akothee walked into a local supermarket to promote the food products, locals chased after her, forcing the supermarket to shut its doors to control the huge crowd gathering outside.

Despite the crowd's shouts of 'Nyaka wane ma wawuo gi, Madam Boss,' the supermarket management remained steadfast, refusing to let the crowd in until Akothee left.

After a 15-minute closure, the supermarket reopened, allowing Akothee to complete her business.
