On September 3, 2019, the grave of Dj Arafat, a popular Ivory Coast singer, was desecrated by his fans in Abidjan.
The fans, who had gathered to pay their respects, allegedly broke into the cemetery and stole items from the grave, including a gold-plated coffin.
