On Sunday, the Minnesota State Fair set an attendance record with nearly 250,000 visitors, but the day took a deadly turn when a shooting occurred outside the event.

The police are still investigating the incident and have not released information on the number of victims or if a suspect has been arrested.

A witness described the scene as chaotic and panicked, with several shots fired in quick succession, followed by a pause and then more shots.

"It was all extremely quick and panicked," the witness said. "We just got out as fast as we could."
