On September 2, 2019, media personality Sheila Kwamboka, alias Kwambox, marked the beginning of her new job at Vybez Radio, a station owned by the Standard Group.
After leaving Homeboyz Radio after seven years, Kwambox has landed a new gig hosting the breakfast show dubbed #VybezMVPs alongside Brian Mbunde from 6 am to 10 am.
She made her debut on Monday and took to social media to express her gratitude to the listeners who tuned in to the first show.
"It was our first show. And I’m grateful to all the #VybezMVPs who tuned in. Now you know I’m here to give you Morning Vybez with my new partner in crime…@brianmbunde (He’s in the photo just blended with the wall #MelaninJokes)" she wrote on social media.
Other new faces at Vybez Radio include Nazizi and Chiki Kuruka, who have also landed gigs at the station.
