Published on September 2, 2019, Moranga Innocent, a Public Relations expert and entrepreneur, founded The Founder, a multilevel company aimed at bridging the gap between job creation and graduate employment.
As a student at Daystar University, Moranga studied public relations, drawn to the institution's reputation for great communications. His interest in human connections and interactions led him to choose the course, and he always aspired to be his own boss, starting his own business.
During his second year in campus, Moranga started The Founder, a multi-level platform for entrepreneurs of the digital age. He enjoyed public speaking, which empowered him to be bold and communicate well in front of people, and had a favorite lecturer, Winnie Mbatha, who understood her students and equipped them with valuable skills.
Moranga was an outdoorsy person who enjoyed camping, cycling, hiking, and swimming, and also valued his alone time for thinking. He skipped classes only when necessary, focusing on his purpose and big picture. He managed his finances through his venture earnings and parental support, and handled stress by focusing on his goals.
As advice to campus students, Moranga emphasized the importance of starting a business early, stating that if 50% of university students started a business in their first year, they would have created enough jobs for the remaining half by graduation.
