On September 2, 2019, actor Kevin Hart was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, leaving him with major injuries.
Hart, 40, was a passenger in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda driven by Jared Black on Mulholland Highway when the driver lost control of the car and it tumbled down an embankment.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Hart was able to leave the scene of the crash with a second passenger and head to his home nearby to get medical attention.
He was later taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, while the driver was taken to another hospital.
The California Highway Patrol stated that the driver, Jared Black, was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
TMZ reported that Hart injured his back in the accident.
Photos of the wreckage were shared, showing the extent of the damage.
