On September 1, 2019, Alexandre Lacazette suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Tottenham in the North London derby.

Despite being forced out of the match, Lacazette's injury is not considered serious, according to Arsenal manager Unai Emery.

Emery revealed that Lacazette was replaced by Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 67th minute due to the injury, but the Frenchman's condition is not severe.

With the injury, Lacazette now faces a race against time to regain full fitness ahead of Arsenal's next Premier League clash against Watford.

The draw against Tottenham saw Arsenal drop to fifth on the log with seven points, behind Crystal Palace who are fourth but with a superior goal difference.
