Published on September 2, 2019, the Mombasa International Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show, themed 'Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade', kicked off with a church service and a Kenya Navy band performance.

The event, traditionally held in August, drew hundreds of Mombasa residents and officials to mark its start. The service, presided over by Anglican Church in Mombasa Bishop Alphonce Mwaro Baya at the ACK Memorial Cathedral, symbolized the beginning of the event.

According to ASK Mombasa Show Chairperson Anisa Abdalah, the show features 190 exhibitors from Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Ukraine, China, and Uganda. President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to tour the show, with security measures heightened.
