September 1, 2019, marked a year since the tragic death of Sharon Otieno, a Rongo University student who was brutally murdered at Kodera Forest in Migori County.

Sharon's family is still reeling from the pain and agony she endured before her death, which was allegedly linked to a romantic affair with Migori Governor Okoth Obado.

According to a postmortem report, Sharon was stabbed eight times and was heavily pregnant at the time of her death, having been seven months pregnant.

Governor Obado was arrested and released on bail, but the case remains unsolved, leaving Sharon's family seeking justice for their beloved daughter.

As they mourn the loss of their loved one, Sharon's family's only wish is to see her killers brought to justice.
