On September 1, 2019, a shocking incident unfolded in Narok County, where a secondary school teacher was caught in a compromising position with his 17-year-old female student at a lodging in Transmara East.

According to Assistant Chief Richard Bett, members of the public reported the incident after they saw the student entering and leaving a room rented by the teacher.

Acting on the tip-off, the police were alerted, and they forced their way into the room, arresting the teacher, Nathan Kosgei, and the student.

Before being taken into custody, the two were taken to Transmara West sub-county hospital for medical assessment.

The incident has sparked outrage, with many questioning the teacher's judgment and the consequences he may face.
