Published on September 1, 2019, Chelsea midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko has rejoined his former club Monaco on a season-long loan deal.

Bakayoko, 25, spent last season on loan at AC Milan where he made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal against Inter in a 4-3 defeat.

His loan move to Monaco this summer will see him team up again with former Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas.

Bakayoko initially joined Chelsea in 2017 and featured 43 times for the Blues in the 2017/18 season, scoring three goals including a well-taken goal against Huddersfield.

He also played 90 minutes in Chelsea's FA Cup final triumph against Manchester United at Wembley.
