Published on September 1, 2019, Bahati and Diana Marua's relationship has been a subject of interest for many. In a recent interview on Weekend With Betty, the couple opened up about their personal life and how they met.
According to Diana, she met Bahati when he wanted to shoot his Mapenzi video a few years ago. She was hired as a video vixen, and that's how they met.
Bahati, however, revealed a different side of Diana's past. He shared a story of how he picked her up from a club along Ngong Road when they were dating. Diana was drunk and pretended not to have seen him, but Bahati could tell she didn't. He even asked her if she was okay, and she said she was, yet she was chewing gum to get rid of the smell.
Betty Kyallo, the host of the show, also admitted to having met Diana several times at entertainment joints. Diana went on to narrate how her ex-boyfriend cheated on her with another woman, and she found him 'pants down, literally.'
Despite her past, Diana is happy she met Bahati. She believes that meeting him was all for a reason, and she has changed since their breakup. Bahati also revealed that he prayed for a wife, and when he came back from praying, he told Diana about it. This is one of the reasons she fell in love with him.
The couple seems to be content with their life together, but they have closed the baby chapter. They are happy with the children they have, especially because they have a boy and a girl.
