Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Southampton on August 31, 2019, has left manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer questioning the team's performance, particularly midfielder Paul Pogba's sloppy passes.

The match at St Mary's Stadium saw Daniel James score for Manchester United within the first 10 minutes, only for Jannik Vestergaard to equalize in the second half.

Despite being awarded a man advantage after Kevin Danso's dismissal in the 73rd minute, Manchester United failed to capitalize and secure a win.

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer acknowledged that Pogba was not at his best, stating, "I think we as a team after about half-an-hour started giving sloppy balls away and Paul was one of them. He wasn’t any different to anyone else."

However, Solskjaer also praised Pogba's efforts in the final 20 minutes of the match, saying, "We as a team didn’t play well but in the last 20 minutes or half-an-hour, he did create loads for us going forward. Everyone expects everything from him every game."
