On a mission to continue the legacy of Ken Okoth, Benson Musungu, the ODM candidate for Kibra, has promised to use Constituency Development Fund (CDF) funds to sponsor local youth in technical courses.
Speaking to the youth in Kibra, Musungu emphasized the importance of empowering the community with skills that can help them better their lives. He noted that not all youth are academically inclined, but God has given people different talents that they can use to improve their lives.
Musungu has vowed to sponsor Kibra youth in courses such as hair salon, mechanics, plumbing, and electrical courses, among others. He believes that this initiative will not only provide employment opportunities but also alleviate poverty in the area.
As a born and raised Kibra resident, Musungu understands the importance of good sanitation and empowerment of women. He has promised to make these priorities in the implementation of his agenda for the people of Kibra.
Additionally, Musungu has vowed to complete all projects initiated by Ken Okoth and work closely with the Nairobi county government to ensure adequate provision of water in the area.
