On Tuesday, a shocking incident unfolded at Nyaramba area in Nyamira County, leaving a community in awe. A middle-aged man, identified as lustful Tom Momanyi, was caught red-handed with his neighbour's wife, Kerubo.

According to sources, Momanyi had been carrying on an illicit love affair with Kerubo for the past three years, cleverly keeping it a secret from the rest of the community.

However, the neighbour, Ken Orandi, who works as a night guard, had long suspected that Momanyi was involved with his wife. Despite his suspicions, Orandi struggled to find concrete evidence to prove his claims.

"Our neighbours kept telling me Momanyi was sleeping with my wife. I tried to confront my wife over the issue, but she was so rude to me and even threatened to divorce me, claiming I was falsely accusing her of adultery," Orandi narrated.

It was only when Orandi sought the help of herbalist Mwikali Kilonzo that the truth finally came to light. Mwikali laid a trap for the two lovebirds, and on Tuesday evening, the community was shocked to hear that Momanyi and Kerubo were stuck in Momanyi's house, wailing in great pain.

"I was at work on Tuesday evening when neighbours called to inform me the two were stuck in Momanyi's house and were heard wailing in great pain," Mwikali said.

The village elders, along with Nyumba Kumi crusaders, responded promptly to the situation, helping to resolve the matter. Through Mwikali's intervention, Kerubo has since apologised and the couple has decided to give their union another chance.

However, Momanyi was not so lucky. He was ordered to pay a hefty fine and vacate the premises. Despite this, he has yet to be seen since Tuesday, and his phone remains unanswered.
