On August 31, 2019, the South Africa Football Association (Safa) made a significant move in the world of football by appointing Molefi Ntseki as the Bafana Bafana head coach on a full-time basis.
Ntseki's appointment comes after the resignation of former head coach Stuart Baxter on August 2, 2019. Ntseki had been serving as the assistant to Baxter and had also been filling the role of national Under-17 coach.
