On a fateful day in June 2019, a reformed criminal stunned the nation with a chilling confession that exposed the dark underbelly of Nairobi's underworld.

Boniface Kimanyano, a man who had once been consumed by a life of crime, revealed how he and his gang had been involved in a heinous trade – chopping off and selling women's breasts in the city's Jevanjee Gardens.

According to Kimanyano, the gang would lure women, mostly commercial sex workers, before severing their breasts. They would then sell the organs for a staggering Sh100,000 to Sh120,000, depending on their size.

Kimanyano's confession was made in an interview with KTN, where he described the gruesome details of their operation. 'We would roam around various corners of the city picking women and chopping off their breasts for money,' he revealed.

He also revealed that they used a chemical called 'flexor' to subdue their victims, which could lead to dizziness and fainting if misused. 'We used some chemical, 'flexor', that made women sleep, then we would descend on them,' he said.

However, Kimanyano's involvement in the gang came to an end when he realized the brutality of their actions. He claimed that he ditched the gang after becoming aware of the harm they were causing to the women.

Kimanyano's shocking confession has shed light on the dark world of human trafficking and organ harvesting in Nairobi. His story serves as a stark reminder of the need for increased vigilance and action to combat such heinous crimes.
