Decorated showbiz couple Bahati and Diana Marua recently sat down with Betty Kyallo on her Upclose with Betty segment on K24, sharing intimate details about their personal lives.
According to Diana, she met Bahati a few years ago when he was looking for a video vixen for his Mapenzi video. She was introduced to him by a mutual friend and was dating at the time.
However, things took a dramatic turn when Diana's relationship crumbled on the day they were shooting the video. She revealed that her lover cheated on her with another woman, leaving her heartbroken.
Before meeting Bahati, Diana confessed to being a 'girl of the world,' always partying and living a wild lifestyle. She even shared a shocking story of how Bahati once picked her up from a club along Ngong Road, where she was drunk and pretending not to know him.
Betty Kyallo, who has met Diana several times at entertainment joints, also shared a glimpse into Diana's wild past, saying she used to live a life that started from Thursday to Monday, with the whole weekend spent on road trips and hangovers.
Despite her wild past, Diana believes that everything happens for a reason, and she's grateful to have found love and a new lease on life with Bahati.
Interestingly, Bahati has been unhappy with his wife in the past, but he prayed for a wife and eventually found Diana. She revealed that Bahati once told her he had gone to pray for a wife at the mountain, and when he returned, he disclosed his intentions to her.
