On August 28, 2019, police in Mwingi County, Kenya, arrested a 20-year-old man with KSh 3 million in cash.

Abdirahman Abdi Rashid was apprehended during an operation targeting buses from northern Kenya.

According to police, the operation was carried out by a team of officers from various units.

Commander Peter Mutuma stated that the operation was aimed at curbing the transportation of illicit goods.

During the operation, police also seized 20 kilograms of makaa and 37 kilograms of plastic bags.

The incident occurred on a bus traveling from northern Kenya to Nairobi.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
