Football Kenya Federation National Division II league play-off action saw Sindo FC from Homa Bay County come from a goal down to hold Geothermal Development Company to a one-all draw at Nakuru Athletics Club on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Both Sindo FC and Geothermal Development Company had already qualified for the National Division One league, having won their respective zones with 74 and 77 points respectively.

The two teams will face each other in a two-leg match, with the return leg set to take place at Nyakiamo Stadium in Homa Bay County on August 31.

Geothermal Development Company took the lead in the first half, thanks to a powerful shot from Brian Eshinda, but Sindo FC equalized just before halftime through George Oliver.

Despite exerting pressure in the second half, Sindo FC was unable to find the back of the net, thanks in part to the inaccuracy of their attacks.

Geothermal Development Company coach Jonathan Kobe expressed his disappointment at the draw, stating that he would need to change his team's style of attack for the return leg.

Sindo FC coach Henry Adero vowed to turn the tables in the return match, promising to make changes to their attacking pattern to ensure a win.
