On August 30, 2019, a shocking incident unfolded at Mukunga medical centre in Kangundo, where a police officer was arrested in possession of bhang and rolling paper.

The officer, Dunda Kiilu Wilson, was a Kasarani-based police officer who was arrested by his colleagues on patrol at the medical facility.

According to a police report, Wilson was arrested following an alarm after he allegedly assaulted and destroyed properties of unknown value.

It is alleged that Wilson assaulted clinical officer Evans Okengo, prompting medical colleagues to contain him in one room before raising the alarm.

As reported in the OB report, Wilson was found in possession of one stone of cannabis sativa and one packet of rizla, which was hidden inside the pocket of his jacket in a red bag.

Police stated that Wilson's motive for visiting the hospital was to see a patient who was being treated there.

Officer Wilson will be charged with possession of an illicit drug, assault, and creating a disturbance.
