Kenyan gospel artist Mr Seed has made a significant move in the music industry by launching his own record label, Starborn Empire. The label has already signed a new artist, Darmon, who has released a song called Deka Deka.
According to Darmon, the entire project cost around five and a half million Kenya shillings. Mr Seed, who was previously signed under EMB records, is making a bold move by launching his own label and studios.
Speaking about working with Mr Seed, Darmon praised his new boss, saying that he has been supportive even in his previous songs. Darmon also revealed that the project was inspired by Mr Seed's real-life experience, with the video being shot entirely at his wedding.
Mr Seed has also asked his fans not to judge him by his fashion and hairstyles. He recently shocked his fans by cutting off his dreadlocks, citing an anticipated visit to his fiancée's parents' home as the reason. He wanted to look presentable and keep it real, dressing casually for the occasion.
Mr Seed also shared his thoughts on how people judge gospel artists based on their appearance, saying that God concentrates on the heart and deeds, not on how one looks. He encouraged his fans to focus on his music and the importance of his posts, rather than judging him by his style.
Despite maintaining his hair dye, Mr Seed seems to like his tattoos, which are on his left hand. He has tattoos of his late father's name and his son's name, with the latter being a name he had chosen before his son was born.
Mr Seed's new venture is expected to help artistes reach their musical dreams at affordable rates. The launch of his record label and studios is a significant move in the music industry, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what the future holds for the gospel artist.
