On August 30, 2019, Tanasha Donna's mother, Diana Oketch, was not amused to read in blogs that her soon-to-be son-in-law, Diamond Platnumz, had been embroiled in a torrid affair.
According to sources, Tanasha's mum was informed about the cheating scandal by her daughter, which prompted her to call Tanasha and discuss the matter.
As reported by Mpasho.co.ke, Tanasha's mum was particularly concerned about the rumors surrounding Diamond's alleged infidelity, which had been making headlines in the media.
Days after the baby shower, where Tanasha's grandmother represented her, there were more swirling rumors that Diamond had a tiff with a lady he had been having a thing with.
At the time, Tanasha was in Nairobi working, and the scandal surrounding Diamond's alleged affair with socialite Official Lynn had just broken.
Official Lynn had posted a photo of a bed that looked exactly like Diamond's bed on her social media, which went viral.
After too much pressure, Lynn gave in and later deleted the photo, but not before it sparked a heated debate about Diamond's alleged infidelity.
Days later, Tanasha visited Diamond's crib in Dar es Salaam, oblivious of Lynn's visit, and took a similar photo and posted it on her social media, which further fueled the rumors.
When questioned about the scandal, Diamond Platnumz denied having any association with Lynn, stating, 'Stop making it look like I hang out with you and that you spent the night at my residence. You bought a bed similar to mine at Danube. Respect yourself and stop seeking out publicity stunt using my name.'
He also claimed that he hadn't talked to Lynn since December last year when he was in Nairobi for Wasafi Festival, and that he had warned her to stop stalking him.
