As the European transfer window nears its close, Arsenal's Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny is on the cusp of a loan move to Turkish club Besiktas. According to reports, the 27-year-old has been informed by Gunners boss Unai Emery that he is free to leave the Emirates Stadium.
Galatasaray had previously been strongly linked with a move for the Egypt international, who only joined Arsenal in 2016. However, it appears that Besiktas have now emerged as the frontrunners for Elneny's signature.
