KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion has hit out at Education CS George Magoha, accusing him of being an arrogant dictator who only believes his way is the only way.

The tussle between Magoha and Sossion is over the proposed new curriculum in which the two have disagreed on when exactly it should be rolled out.

According to Sossion, the needs assessment for the new curriculum was poorly done and therefore cannot guide the country. He also stated that summative evaluation is key in curriculum development.

Magoha's approach to implementing the new curriculum has been met with resistance from teachers, with Sossion warning that attempts to force teachers into the new program will be brutally resisted.

Teachers must not be forced with the new curriculum and they should first be trained before the proposed roll out, Sossion emphasized.

He also accused Magoha of trying to privatize education, saying that the new curriculum allows for privatization and is a ploy for business people to make profit off Kenyans.
