On August 29, 2019, a disturbing incident was captured on camera in Kasarani, Kenya, where armed police officers in uniform stormed a bar and an M-Pesa shop, making away with valuables and cash.

Contrary to their motto of 'protect and serve,' these rogue officers became the very beasts feeding on the same people they are supposed to be protecting. The officers, who were believed to be on patrol at the time of the incident, were reportedly effecting Matiang'i's order to close all bars during the census.

The National Police Service and the office of Interior have not made any comments on the outrageous incident by the time of going to press. Cases of police officers going rogue and turning on the same people they are supposed to protect have been on the rise in recent times.
