On August 29, 2019, Glovo, a global delivery firm, marked a significant milestone in its expansion strategy by launching operations in Kitengela and Nakuru towns.

The move aims to provide delivery services in various parts of the country, building on Glovo's existing presence in Nairobi, where it has the widest coverage among on-demand e-commerce companies.

Residents in Kitengela and Nakuru can now enjoy Glovo's delivery of food, supermarkets, drinks, gifts, and courier services, thanks to the company's partnerships with outlets such as Artcaffe, Chicken Inn, and Naivas in Kitengela, and Java House and Naivas in Nakuru.

Speaking during the launch, William Benthall, Glovo's General Manager for Kenya, emphasized the company's commitment to providing convenience to customers, increasing orders for partners, and generating incomes and technology training for the youth in Kitengela and Nakuru through bodaboda delivery.
