On August 27, 2019, a tragic accident occurred on the road to Mombasa, claiming the life of Ishmail Yaa. The incident has left his family in pain and sorrow.

Alex Mangi Yaa, Ishmail's father, has spoken out about the incident, revealing that his son was on his way to Mombasa when the accident occurred. He was coming from a funeral.

According to Alex, his son's death has left behind a young wife and a child. He has expressed disappointment that Inspekta Mwala has not reached out to his family since the incident.

"We are now looking for a lawyer to represent us in court. Sadly, Mwala is yet to communicate with us despite killing our son, who has left behind a young wife and a child," Alex stated.

Inspekta Mwala was arrested shortly after the incident and taken to Rabai Police Station, where he spent the night before being released on a Ksh 40,000 cash bail. He will be arraigned in court on Friday, August 30.

When contacted for comment, Mwala declined, stating, "I have nothing to say. Police knows what happened."
