Malaga's youth academy has welcomed a new talent from Kenya, Eric Mulu, an 18-year-old midfielder who rose through the ranks at Ligi Ndogo.
According to sources, Mulu earned a scholarship to join Malaga's youth set-up after impressing during the Green Sports Academy trials held in December 2018.
Before joining Malaga, Mulu played for Ligi Ndogo, a soccer youth academy based in Nairobi, where he made a name for himself.
Other young players who benefited from the scheme include Malawian U20's Andrew Numeru, Karl Gatiramu, and Louis Kiarie, who will be joining Illinois Central College.
Meanwhile, Harambee Stars defender Joseph Okumu has switched to Swedish outfit IF Elfsborg, as reported by TUKO.co.ke in a previous article.
