How to Deposit Funds on Betlion ¶
Once you have registered, you need to deposit funds into your account. You can do this online or via SMS.
Online deposit is easy. Simply log into your account, click on the 'Deposit' button, enter the amount you wish to deposit, and click on the deposit tab. You will receive a notification to approve the request, and you will be required to input your mobile money pin before completing the transaction.
Alternatively, you can deposit funds via M-Pesa. Simply go to the M-Pesa menu on your phone, choose the Lipa na M-Pesa option, click on pay bill, and enter 212927 as your business number. The registered number is the account number. Put the amount you wish to deposit, then your pin, and confirm the transaction to complete the deposit.
Depositing funds via SMS is also possible. Simply send the details in SMS 'D#Amount' or 'Deposit#Amount' to 40418.
How to Play the Betlion Jackpot ¶
Now that you have registered and deposited funds into your account, it is time to play the Betlion jackpot. There are two jackpots offered on the platform, namely the Midweek jackpot and the Goliath.
The Goliath is the most coveted and biggest betting jackpot in Africa, with a Kshs 350 million prize. The highest jackpot amount that has been won in Kenya is Kshs 230 million, and this explains why the Betlion jackpot is gaining popularity.
Playing the Midweek jackpot is easy. Simply click on the Midweek jackpot from your account homepage, choose either the home team to win, away team to win, or a draw for each of the 15 games, and click on the place jackpot bet button. Alternatively, you can click on the Lucky Dip if you want the system to automatically place the bet for you.
Playing the Goliath jackpot is similar. Simply click on the Goliath jackpot from your account homepage, choose either the home team to win, away team to win, or a draw for each of the 20 games, and click on the place jackpot bet button. Alternatively, you can click on the Lucky Dip if you want the system to automatically place the bet for you.
How to Bet the Midweek and Goliath Jackpot via SMS ¶
Alternatively, you can bet the Midweek and Goliath jackpot via SMS. For the Midweek jackpot, send the word 'JP' and the 15 predictions to 40418. For the Goliath jackpot, send the word 'JP' and the 20 predictions to 40418.
Example: 'JP#2X121XX2X2112X1' for the Midweek jackpot and 'JP#2XX12X11XX212X221X12' for the Goliath jackpot.
You will receive a confirmation message with the Bet ID, prediction, amount, possible win, and balance.
