Second Suspect Linked to Nakuru Businessman's Murder Arrested

On August 27, 2019, Elvis Musonya appeared before a Nakuru court, accused of killing Nakuru businessman David Wachira. A second suspect was arrested from his Nairobi hideout in connection with the killing.

According to Nakuru Town West police boss Patrick Olonyi, the second suspect had travelled to Nairobi after allegedly committing the crime. "Investigations led us to the arrest of a middle-aged man linked to the murder of the businessman," said Olonyi.

Elvis Musonya was charged with murder on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, and was detained for 14 more days to conclude investigations. The second suspect will also be taken to Nakuru to take plea.

David Wachira, 45, owner of Biscept Limited, was returning from Kisumu when a gang of six attacked and killed him on August 16 and 17, 2019.
