Chelsea are open to allowing Tiemoue Bakayoko to leave the club this summer, with the midfielder's future at Stamford Bridge hanging in the balance.
Bakayoko, who joined Chelsea in a £40million move from Monaco two years ago, is yet to feature under Frank Lampard this season after spending last season on loan at AC Milan.
Monaco are still in negotiations with Chelsea over a potential loan move for the 25-year-old, with the Ligue 1 side looking to add a central midfielder before the transfer window closes on September 2.
According to RMC, Monaco are exploring the possibility of signing Bakayoko on a season-long loan, while also pursuing a move for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
Although Chelsea are thought to favour a move for Kessie and are willing to match Milan's £22.7m asking price, it is believed the 22-year-old's wage demands could prove too high.
That could cause Monaco to push through with a loan move for Bakayoko, despite earlier efforts to complete a deal being frustrated.
Bakayoko played 63 Ligue 1 games for Monaco between 2014 and 2017, culminating in his big-money switch to Chelsea.
