On Monday, Judge Martin Muya was reported missing by his wife, Haurellia Mbulwa, after his phone calls went unanswered.

According to a police report, Haurellia last contacted her husband on Monday at around 10:00 PM.

She suspected that he had been carjacked, as he had told her he was on his way home but did not return.

Their son, Benjamin Mati, had been monitoring the car through a tracking system and reported that the car was moving suspiciously from one point to another.

Police eventually spotted the vehicle in Kileleshwa and shot at the right tire, deflating it and forcing the vehicle to stop.

Onboard was Judge Martin Muya, who was found to be very drunk.

He denied allegations that he had been carjacked, and the vehicle was towed to Kilimani Police Station.

No one was injured during the incident.
