A group of male church members from Neno Evangelism Church have issued a demand letter to Pastor James Ng'ang'a, accusing him of using derogatory language to describe their sexual organs.
The congregants, represented by Otieno & Amisi Advocates, claim that Pastor Ng'ang'a used threatening, abusive, or insulting words, including referring to them as 'ng'ombe wewe' and 'ng'ombe hizi', which are Swahili words for a foolish person.
They further alleged that Pastor Ng'ang'a used obscene and insulting language by equating their sexual organs to the index finger and referring to them as 'kakitu' and 'tuvitu', which are colloquial Swahili adjectives.
The church members have threatened to sue Pastor Ng'ang'a for defamation if he fails to issue a formal apology within two days.
They have also demanded that Pastor Ng'ang'a publish an unequivocal apology in a local newspaper of nationwide circulation.
