Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool Future: Contract, Break, and Premier League Ambitions ¶
As Liverpool continues to dominate the Premier League, manager Jurgen Klopp's future with the team has sparked interest. According to Sky Sports (UK), Klopp's current contract ends in 2022, and he is considering taking a break from football.
Despite his strong performance, Klopp has expressed his desire to take a break, stating, "If I decide for myself that I cannot go on anymore, I'll take a break and in that year I'd have to make a definite decision (on his career).">
However, Klopp's break may not be a permanent one, as he has also mentioned, "I have absolute energy, but I have one problem; I can't do 'a little bit.' I can only do 'all or nothing.'" This suggests that Klopp may return to football in the future.
With Liverpool currently sitting top of the Premier League table, Klopp's decision to take a break could be a crucial factor in the team's success. The last time the Merseyside dwellers won the domestic league was in 1989/90, and this season, Klopp will have lifting the EPL Cup as his primary objective.
As Liverpool continues to push for the Premier League title, Klopp's future with the team remains uncertain. Will he take a break and return to football, or will he decide to retire? Only time will tell.
