On August 27, 2019, a group of male churchgoers from Neno Evangelism Ministries issued a stern warning to televangelist James Ng'ang'a over fresh insults they claim targeted them.

The men, through Otieno and Amisi Advocates, demanded that Ng'ang'a withdraw the threats and insults within two days or face defamation charges.

According to the letter, Ng'ang'a allegedly threatened to interfere with the 'normal functioning' of their 'male organs' and used derogatory language in reference to their sexual organs.

The men claimed Ng'ang'a's actions were intended to provoke a breach of peace and demanded a public apology be published in a national daily newspaper.

Ng'ang'a's actions come just hours after he begged journalist Linus Kaikai for forgiveness in a case before Kiambu Law Courts, in which Kaikai accused the preacher of threatening him.
