Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has been at the center of a transfer tug-of-war between Barcelona and Real Madrid this summer, with the situation set to come to a head within the next seven days.

On Sunday, Neymar sat out of PSG's 4-0 victory over Toulouse, but was closely following Barcelona's 5-2 thrashing of Real Betis, where Antoine Griezmann notched a brace and Carles Perez, Jordi Alba, and Arturo Vidal also scored.

According to Spanish publication AS, Neymar's liking of Griezmann's post, which showed the Frenchman celebrating with glitter, could be seen as a nod towards a move back to the Nou Camp, two years after making a world record £198million move to PSG.

However, Neymar's dad, who works as his agent, started following Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos on Instagram this weekend, sparking speculation about his son's future.

Ramos has previously called on Neymar to switch to the Bernabeu, saying, "Neymar is a top player, among the top three in the world. Talking about signings is a lack of respect for this great team. Players must be cold with these things."

PSG will demand €250million (£228m) for their prized asset, with Real Madrid believed to be more likely to conclude a deal.
