Comedian and former Embakasi South parliamentary aspirant Eunice Wambui, popularly known as Nyasuguta, has made a surprising career shift, trading her microphone for a pulpit.

According to Nyasuguta, her decision to join church ministry is a result of a recent accident that left her with a newfound appreciation for her faith.

Speaking to Word Is, Nyasuguta said, “God is preparing me to be bigger and go for missions to serve him and people. I will be serving God more than doing comedy.”

Her journey to the ministry began after a near-death experience in an accident, which she believes was a turning point in her life.

Reflecting on her past, Nyasuguta recalled a similar accident in 2013 that left her face dented, prompting her to bleach her skin to achieve an even tone.

However, this time around, Nyasuguta sees her accident as an opportunity to serve God and reconnect with her faith.

Her TV husband, Francis Njenga, also known as Mogaka, will be joining her in her new ministry, with the duo aiming to “poach souls to Christ.”
