On Monday morning, a devastating road accident claimed the lives of three people and left three others seriously injured after a lorry collided with a car they were traveling in.
The accident occurred at Chakareli on the Ol Kalou-Gilgil road in Nyandarau, as reported on August 26, 2019.
According to eyewitnesses, the saloon car, which had four occupants, was headed to Gilgil from Ol Kalou when the driver lost control while attempting to avoid a pothole and crashed head-on with an oncoming lorry.
The injured individuals were rushed to the J.M Kariuki Memorial Hospital for treatment.
