On August 26, 2019, Huddah Monroe issued a stern warning to Kenyan women about dating Nigerian men, labeling them as scammers.

According to Huddah, these West African men are notorious for taking advantage of their partners, leaving them financially drained and emotionally scarred.

She specifically mentioned that many single mothers in Kenya are a result of these men's actions, who often abandon their partners after impregnating them.

Notably, Huddah stated that most victims of these scammers are East and South African women, who are often left feeling embarrassed, ashamed, or even driven to madness.

She also highlighted the tactics used by these scammers, including isolating their partners from friends and family, using divide and conquer strategies, and manipulating their victims for personal gain.

Several Kenyan women, including Bridget Achieng, Lisa Gaitho, and Vera Sidika, have shared their own harrowing experiences with Nigerian men, serving as cautionary tales for others.
