On Sunday, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Amollo Odinga organized a rally at Kamkunji Grounds, which was attended by residents of Kibra Constituency.
However, the crowd was not receptive to Imran Okoth, brother of the late Kibra Constituency Member of Parliament Ken Okoth, who was invited to address them.
As soon as Imran Okoth stepped onto the podium, the crowd began chanting 'Toka wewe toka,' which translates to 'go away,' making it impossible for him to address the congregation.
Despite the rowdy crowd, Imran Okoth attempted to speak, but he was met with continued heckling and eventually left the stage.
It is reported that the residents who turned against Imran Okoth were those who he had not involved in the decision-making process during the cremation of his brother.
