On the second anniversary of Chris Msando's murder, his widow Eva Buyu Msando penned a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, who was the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's (IEBC) ICT guru.
Msando was brutally murdered in Nairobi just a week before the 2017 general elections, alongside his female companion Carol Ngumbu.
Msando's children, Allan, Alvin, Alama, and Alsion, also shared their tribute, praising their mother for taking care of them and maintaining their family's car.
However, Msando's widow expressed her disappointment that the state has yet to apprehend and prosecute the killers, leaving her with unanswered questions about her husband's death.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has been in touch with the family, but has not been able to provide any answers about Msando's murder.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has since appointed Msando's widow as a member of the Export Processing Zones Authority for a period of three years.
