On August 25, 2019, Olympic champion David Rudisha was involved in a road accident on the Kisii-Keroka highway in Kenya.
According to reports, Rudisha was driving his Toyota V8 when the car's tire burst, causing him to lose control and collide with a bus belonging to Ena.
Rudisha escaped with minor injuries and was treated at a hospital in Keroka before being discharged.
His car, however, was severely damaged and was taken to the Keroka police station for further investigation.
Stephen Ole Read, a friend of Rudisha, confirmed the incident and stated that Rudisha was treated at a hospital in Keroka before being allowed to leave.
