On Sunday morning, a devastating gun attack occurred in Forole, Marsabit County, claiming the lives of five people and leaving at least six others seriously injured.
The census exercise in the area was left paralyzed as a result of the attack.
According to sources, two of the three killed were minors, aged 13 and 15 years old.
The attackers stormed a watering point in Forole where herders were sleeping at around 4a.m and opened fire, before fleeing with an unknown number of livestock.
