On Sunday morning, Olympic Champion David Rudisha was involved in a road accident after a bus hit his car in Nyamira.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Nyansiongo area on the Kijauri-Keroka Highway in Nyamira County at around 2 am.
Confirming the incident, Keroka OCPD Walter Abondo stated that the athlete sustained minor injuries.
David Rudisha, a two-time World Champion, was treated at the Keroka sub-county Hospital and discharged after receiving medical attention.
Fortunately, none of the bus passengers sustained any injuries during the incident.
The vehicle involved in the accident was towed to Keroka Police station for further investigation.
