On Sunday, world champion athlete David Rudisha was involved in a road accident in Kijauri, Borabu, Nyamira county.
According to his brother Shadrick Rudisha, they were on their way to Nairobi for additional tests to determine if David sustained any internal injuries.
The accident occurred when Rudisha's car collided with an Ena Coach bus heading to Nairobi from Kisii.
Shadrick stated, 'We are going for secondary checks to affirm if he sustained any further injuries to his body.'
At the time of the accident, Rudisha was heading home from Nairobi, as per Shadrick's account.
