Published on August 25, 2019, a report filed at Tala Police Station in Machakos, Kenya, revealed that millionaire witchdoctor Annah Mutheu is living in fear for her life.

According to the report, Mutheu claims that some individuals believe she has stored Sh30 million in her house and are threatening her.

She further alleged that she has been receiving phone calls from strangers demanding the cash, with the callers claiming that she earns at least Sh1.8 million daily.

“They have threatened to break into my house and take the said-Ksh30 million away,” reads a part of Mutheu’s report.

Mutheu denied the allegations, stating that she does not keep such an amount of cash in her residence, which is valued at Sh40 million.

She also denied earning Ksh1.8 million in a day, as claimed by the strangers.

As a wealthy individual, Mutheu owns a fleet of luxury vehicles valued at tens of millions of shillings. In a past interview, she claimed to have inherited the craft of witchdoctoring from her parents.

Despite practicing witchcraft, Mutheu is an avid Bible reader and attends church on Sundays.

It is worth noting that Mutheu was arrested last year over allegations of being the leader of a Machakos car theft syndicate. However, she was later freed due to lack of evidence.
